Dan Lauszkin

Dan Lauszkin was born and raised in Barnet, London in the United Kingdom. Prior to moving to the US in 2020 he was a serving police Officer with the Met Police in London.

He’d never really been involved in much theatre or acting work apart from a small extra role whilst policing around the set of British Zombie Horror Comedy Shaun of the Dead where he, as a thank you to the director, offered his team the chance to play police officer zombies for the final scene.

He got involved in the theatre in 2023 as his son wanted to take part in a play having watched one of his school friends out and Dan went to check the place out and auditioned for the next show, after which he was offered the part of a "gangster" turned bodyguard in Inncognito.

Since then, he has appeared in a number of productions and even had the opportunity to play alongside his son in A Carol for Tiny Tim.

Dan joined the PFAA board in December 2023 as Events Coordinator.

Outside of the theatre Dan became a US Citizen in 2024 and likes football (soccer), ten points bowling, video games, and spending time with his family.
